Scrap Expo

Ironic... isn't it?... the Stampin Up banner was the backdrop in the picture, too funny. I should have taken way more photos at the recent Scrap Expo in San Diego but I never do. I am not that great of a shutterbug. I just wanted to share a couple that I did take. I made a point of stopping by the Crafty Secrets booth to meet IRL in person Vicki Chrisman and Sandy Redburn. It is so fun to meet people that you only know via blogoland. Even though I don't know these people it feels like I do through the powers of the internet. Vicki and Sandy were busy as bees in their booth. So many beautiful examples I really wish I would have photo'd these. They were nice enough to take the time to chat and of course help me with my purchases even though they were super busy. I only went back to the booth 3 or 4 times because I remembered that I wanted something else. That's me on the right looking a little wilted because it was hot in there. Sorry for the not so good resolution on the photo.

This is them trying not to pose.

Super nice ladies. They gave us a free Vintage Cuts sheet with every purchase and were so so generous. Thanks ladies it was a real treat meeting you both and seeing your booth that booth should win awards for all the work that goes into it. Great job and hope to see you again soon!!

Oh Liz.. It was SO great to meet you in person! Meeting my "blog friends" is always the most fun part of doing these shows. You're a doll!

The hamster is a miracle because he got out once and we thought he died. 2 1/2 months later, we find out our neighbor acros the street found him in her yard and had kept him. We got him back the day our cat Bob died.
I live in Eastern Ontario, Canada. That hail storm was the an extreme rarity. My dad is 75 and never saw anything like it!
